Hot Spots is a Melbourne user friendly guide showcasing the sights and activities that can be found around the city during Winter. This years theme was a barometer and I also had to create a family of icons to be used as part of the publication.
Mountain Goat Beer
Mountain Goats and Beer......two of my favorite subjects, well maybe not the Beer. I recently produced some illustrations to be used on promotional T-shirts for the enigmatic Mountain Goat Brewery
Mister Mista Limited Edition Prints: The Band Series
I recently had some fun with fairy tales and nursery rhymes for a series of kids limited edition prints for Mister Mista.
Giclée Print on 192gsm Archival Matte with archival inks. Signed and numbered by artist (limited to 100). Each print with it’s own certificate or authenticity. Mounted in a white 50 x 70cm and fits easily into a standard ikea Ribba frame.
It's always nice to be walking through a shop and see something you've had a hand in creating. In this case it was ALDI....and OK I'll admit I hunted this one down as it's not all that obvious. ALDI have just updated their Power Force cleaning products packaing and I was lucky enough to work with Motor Design and created all the swish little icons.
Penta-vite
I was recently perusing the local chemist for any snake oil or magical tonic that may get me through this cold wet winter when I stumbled into some familiar faces. Penta-vite (Multi-Vitamins for kids) have updated there packaging with friendly Aussie characters I created with the great team from Ward 6.
Scampd
I was recently lucky enough to create the logo for new illustration portal "Scampd".
As many of you already know scamps are the rough sketches supplied by an agency at the start of an illustration assignment. This was the basis for the logo to show the transition from rough sketch to finished art.
Make sure you drop past http://scampd.com
Rushmore
Some nice and simple line work for the NAB working with the fine folk at Clemenger Proximity Melbourne.
Check out the machine in action here.
Rushmore
I've always been a huge fan of Wes Anderson films. For me it all started with Rushmore. I finally made the time to create prints of two of my favorite characters Max Fisher & Herman Blume. If you haven't seen Rushmore, add it to your list of 100 films I must see before I die!
A selection of limited edition signed and numbered prints are now available from the Price Shop
Intel: Termino
I once again worked with the graet team at Momentum to illustrate Termino, an online game for Intel.
Saxbys TVC's Series 02
I recently re-ented the crazy world of Saxby's to create two new TVC's.
The fine folk at Gorilla once again produced far from normal scripts....
Nude Food Mover
I was recently lucky enough to be part of a team (with 3 great friends) to create Smash's latest TVC for their innovative lunch box "The Nude Food Mover"

Travis was recently lucky enough to be asked as one of four illustrators to produce an illustration for Spicers papers.
The sample is for their Stephen range and the best way to describe it’s colour is baige/cream.
The brief was simple and a little bit close to home as Travis grew up in a country area of Australia.
“Stephen
He’s the tradie down the street with the spick ‘n’ span van and overalls to match. He’s the team captain keeping morale high, season after punishing season. He’s the one who strung the Christmas lights for the local primary school – from the bike rack to the overflowing rainwater tank. It takes balls to ride a bike since then.”
The sample was printed CMYK with white a s a fifth colour and for all good Aussies or general beer drinkers, it comes with a complimentary beer coaster.
The samples where also in support of http://australiaproject.com and launched on Australia day.
Web123 Mascot.

When do you Milo?

Introducing Mister Mista Rare-i-tee's.
Sock eating monsters and rock-a-billy foxes in custom wind up hot rods - welcome to the mirky waters of Mister Mista. Limited edition T-shirts for young masters.
Created deep within the Tee forest, Series One consists of three tshirts and gives you a glimpse of its inhabitants:
• Ferris the rock-a-billy fox who likes all cars to be customised and has a distinct interest in the ladies;
• Ozzie the odd-sock creating creature with the eating habits of a goat;
• And then there's Stan the abandoned Woodstock ted who became a roadie, and has a clear distaste for Amway and any other pyramid schemes.
Mister Mista is the brain child of creative couple Travis and Renee Price.
A perfect synergy with Renee's background in marketing and Travis's in illustration/design.
Series one is available in sizes 2,4,6 and can be purchased online at www.mistermista.com for $39.95 or from one of their stockists.
